my mom keeps ignoring the fact that i need to see an eye doctor ASAP…..
because i have strabismus aka “lazy eye”. my right eye turns in so i have esotropia. i’ve had it since i was about 2 years old. i’ve been to the eye doctor about 10 times. just for glasses that don’t seem to help.

I have strabismus too! I know what you mean about people being grossed out but it’s due to their ignorance. I had to have surgery in both eyes seven years ago and now (for the most part) everything is straight and I rarely ever see double. Have you considered surgery? Strabismus is a lot more common than you think so don’t feel like you’re alone!
